Ever since they announced the Kershaw Believer, that old Monkees song (re-popularized by Smash Mouth for Shrek) plays on an almost constant loop in our heads. If the song is catchy, so too is the knife. For a limited time, and while supplies last, you can get one for about $28.
The Believer is a SpeedSafe assisted opening flipper with a 3.25” gray PVD coated 8Cr13MoV modified clip point blade. Kershaw tells us it “include[s] a large, angular top swedge that not only enhances the look of the blade, but thins it, making the Believer an excellent cutter.” In addition to the swedging, this knife also has some jimping along the spine.
The contoured handles on this framelock are bead blast finished stainless steel. It has a decorative bronze anodized pivot collar and bronze anodized aluminum tube spacers with black-oxide hardware. All this gives the Believer a great look. It’s also comfortable in hand, and at 0.4” it’s a slim ride in your pocket. It comes with an ambidextrous, deep carry tip-up pocket clip. It’s 4.2” closed and weighs 3.8 ounces.
