Michael Zieba builds on heck of a knife. His work generally tends toward the big, beefy, and tactical. The Zieba MS3 M390 is not that. It’s a sleek, slim gentleman’s carry with tons of style and all the discretion you could ever want. Of course, because it’s a Zieba, you know it has a lightning-quick action and a fabulous feel. As always, this knife is made by Michael Zieba in his Brooklyn, NY shop. He buys all his materials from US-owned and operated companies.
The MS3 has a 2.56” M390 clip point with a blade thickness of 0.11” and a flat grind. Riding on ceramic ball bearing washers, this knife quickly opens with a discreet flipper. It comes razor sharp straight out of the box.
The 4” titanium handles have a frankly flawless finish and fabulous feel in the hand and, though this EDC is on the smaller side, it’s has plenty of room for a good grip. There are cutouts inside the handles to keep the weight down to just under two ounces. It has anodized blue titanium accents for a great look, and a machined backspacer to give you the perfect amount of slip resistance. It is a framelock with a lockbar insert and a ceramic ball detent. It has a tip up pocket clip.
