The Kershaw Kingbolt features a 3″ 8Cr13MoV stainless steel drop point blade with a blackwash finish. If you’re not familiar with Kershaw’s blackwash finish, it’s one of the best in the world. It looks amazing, and this knife is blackwashed from tip to butt.
It’s a SpeedSafe Assist opener with both a flipper and ambidextrous thumb studs. It’s genuinely fidget friendly, and as you probably already know, SpeedSafe Assist is reliable for practically the life of the knife.
This framelock has stainless steel handles with machined grooves that give the knife a very modern look. In fact, with the blackwash finish, this knife looks like something that survived the Apocalypse (and that’s a good thing).
