TOPS has released a Blackout Edition of its popular C.U.T. 4.0 Combat Utility Knife. This new iteration features black coated blades and a black canvas Micarta handle with red liners. It also comes with an all black kydex sheath with black leather straps.
The Blackout Edition C.U.T. 4.0 still maintains the integral features of the original. It still features one-piece, black traction coated 1095 carbon steel blade construction. At 3/16″ thick, the 4 1/4″ drop point blade serves well on this combat utility knife that largely resembles a karambit knife. The aggressive tip of the on the drop point provides maximum penetration in a fight, and can more easily pierce body armor and heavy clothing. It also serves well in general field cutting tasks. At 8 1/2″ overall, the C.U.T. 4.0 Blackout Edition is ideal an EDC cutting implement, whether you’re in combat or out in the bush.
