Kitchen knives from Condor? Yes indeed. Condor tells us the Japanese style Condor Kondoru kitchen knives, “are ideal for bushcraft enthusiasts who like to cook in the outdoors.” We think they’re perfectly at home in a campsite, at a grill in the backyard, or even in the kitchen at home.
There are three knives in this series. Each features a 440HC stainless steel blade with a blasted satin finish. This is a great steel choice for this application – 440 is easy to sharpen, and it’s significantly more corrosion resistant than most carbon steels. Additionally, carbon steel has been known to throw off the flavor of some foods, particularly fruits and some vegetables.
Secured with brass rivets, each Kondoru features beautiful hickory and walnut handles. They also have a full push tang, which increases the durability of these knives. Finally, it comes with a hand crafted welted leather sheath with a belt loop attachment. This makes it easy to move your knives from the kitchen straight to the camp site. This elevates the Condor Kondoru kitchen knives to a unique, multi-purpose series of knives.
