Victorinox Master MicWe love our Victorinox Swiss Army knives. Because of their compact sizes and with tools that are just about perfect for any situation, it’s not surprising that they’ve made their way into so many pockets. What is surprising is that after lo these many generations, Victorinox has never made a buscrafting fixed blade knife. Behold the new Victorinox Master Mic knives! These knives have all the quality and looks you expect from a Swiss Army Knife but they’re fixed blades suited for all outdoor adventures. These newly premiered exclusively at SMKW.com and we snatched one up almost immediately to check them out.

There are two knives in this series. There’s a small one and a large one. They both have 1.4116 stainless steel drop point blades with a polished finish and a Scandi grind. Both versions of the Master Mic have 90-degree spines for striking fire rods and full tangs. The large version has an exposed tang at the pommel and some spine jimping.

The Master Mic knives have contoured smooth micarta handles that feel excellent in hand and are comfortable enough for use all day. The deep blue/black color of the micarta is accented by red underliners, which gives a fantastic burst of bright color. Both knives are secured with double rivets and have lanyard tubes for attachments.

These blades are carried with the included molded sheaths. The large versions features a Tek-Lok system, and it includes a ferro rod so you can carry it in a side slot. The small features an adjustable paracord lanyard and can be carried as a neck knife.
