CRKT SketchThe CRKT Sketch has an interesting story. A few years back, knife maker and designer Lucas Burnley did a #BRNLY365 challenge wherein he designed a new knife every day for 365 days. On July 17, 2013 – Day 69 – he designed the M69. You should absolutely check out those sketches. A few years later, CRKT released the Sketch Red, which is the production version of the Burnley M69. This year CRKT Released the Sketch. There have been a few modifications over the last couple of years.

From the grinds on the blade to the angles in the handle, all the lines on the Sketch have been softened. This results in a smoother, more comfortable knife that rides easier in your pocket and feels great in hand. CRKT upgraded this version of the Sketch to a framelock. It has stainless-steel handles with a light green pivot collar and back spacer. This gives it a clean, modern look with a little pop of color that we love.

This manual folder smoothly opens with a thumb hole and has a 2.89” K-Tip 8Cr14MoV blade with a satin finish and a blade thickness of 0.11”. It has a tip-up pocket clip and lanyard slot. It’s just under 4” closed and weighs 3.7 ounces,
