The new 2018 Benchmade 565 Mini Freek is the mini version of the popular Benchmade Freek. It features the same dual durometer handles that greatly increase grip performance while maintaining strength, and it also has a fully ambidextrous AXIS® lock.
The Mini Freek features a 3″ blade compared to its 3.60″ full size model. The handle is also reduced from 4.87″ in length to 4.05″. These reductions in blade and handle length cause a drop in weight from the original 3.72oz to 2.57oz. The lighter weight and smaller overall size makes the Mini Freek easier and more convenient to carry. Let’s take a look at the details.
