We love the ESEE Candiru. It’s incredibly small, and incredibly light, making it a fantastic fixed blade for EDC. First off, just like most all ESEE knives, the ESEE Candiru is made of 1095 carbon steel, which as we all know does require a bit of care and at least the occasional sharpening. The upside is it’s not that tough to sharpen.
The ESEE Candiru comes in a variety of colors: dark earth, pink, black, purple, OD green, and desert tan. The Candiru’s textured, powder coating helps with slip resistance and adds corrosion resistance.
