Whether you’re a knife collector or a knife user, you won’t want to miss the Benchmade Rift 2018 Shot Show Limited Edition model number 950BK-1801. The Rift was originally designed by the late Warren Osborne, who was instrumental in the founding of BladeSports International (BSI). According to BSI, they were “formed to promote knife safety, provide workshops and cutting events for its members, and to inform and educate the public with regard to the safe use of a knife as a tool.” You might have seen the BSI coordinated World Championship Cutting Competition at Blade Show last year.
The 2018 Shot Show Limited Edition Benchmade Rift is a sturdy, eye catching EDC that is loaded with features. The black coated CPM-S30V reverse tanto is a large bellied blade which is deployed by either the ambidextrous thumb stud or by deactivating the AXIS locking system to unleash the lightning fast flipper action.
It also features heavily milled and textured blue G-10 scales are incredibly slip resistant. Mounted on a 420J stainless steel frame, the blue handles are as visually appealing as they are sturdy. The open body design of this knife allows easy maintenance. This knife also features a reversible tip-up pocket clip for ambidextrous carry.
