Benchmade AileronOregon City, Oregon –Benchmade announces the release of the Benchmade Aileron 737. Designed by Steve Tarani, the Aileron is a unique tactical gentleman’s folder. Benchmade tells us this knife was: “Designed for the Aviation Industry with input and review from pilots and Federal Flight Deck Officers, the 737 features innovative laser texturing on the blade and ergonomic G-10 handles that provide positive grip and handling in all situations and environments.” With multiple deployment methods, a darned near slip proof grip, and Benchmade’s amazing AXIS lock the Aileron looks like an amazing knife.

The Aileron features a 3.45” CPM-S30V drop point with either a satin finish plain edge or a partially serrated edge with black Cerakote finish. The blade also features a laser textured grip. There’s an “extra” thumb hole opener, as well as the AXIS opening. All this allows you to safely and quickly open your knife.

The handles are highly textured G-10 with jimping throughout grip to provide maximum slip resistance in all environments, even while wearing gloves. Additionally, the contoured grips enable the easiest and surest possible grip. With a weight of 4.24 ounces and a handle thickness of only 0.54”, this will be an incredibly lightweight easily carried knife. It also features an ambidextrous deep carry tip-up pocket clip.
