The Joe Flowers designed Condor Atrox is a giant beast of a knife – but incredibly useful as well. Condor tells us, “The name translates to ‘terrible’ in Latin. Terrible indeed, as the Atrox sports an 11” blade…that is a combination fighting survival tool that works double as a machete or a self-defense weapon.” It’s part fighting knife, part survival tool that is agile and light in the hand. What’s not to love about the Atrox?
The black traction powder coated 10.86” 1075 high carbon steel clip point blade on this knife features an uncoated swedge that can be sharpened. It has a full flat grind with a convex edge.
The dual micarta handles are desert tan and charcoal grey. Together with the hollow rivets they give the Atrox a clean and modern look. Frankly, it feels great in the hand as well.
Finally, this knife comes with a Kydex sheath that was designed by Julio Diez, founder of “The 710 Custom Sheaths.” In a company known for truly amazing sheaths, this sheath stands out from the rest. It features a leather belt loop attachment and numerous rivets which would make for a variety of attachment points.
