Designed by Joe Flowers, the Condor Urban EDC Puukko might have one of our favorite fixed blade handles from Condor. Its triangular shaped handle has an interesting and shockingly comfortable grip.
Full tang constructed, this small to medium sized fixed blade features a design that is meant to be an easy, non-threatening daily carry. The 3.29” 1095 carbon steel blade has a full flat grind and a satin finish. It’s a mostly straight spine with only the slightest hint of a clip in the last half inch of the tip. It’s literally a modern interpretation of a Puukko.
Securing the triangular shaped paper micarta handles are two polished steel lanyard tubes. The top part of the handle is just over a half inch. It then tapers down at the bottom to just under a quarter inch. This results in a knife that is comfortable in a variety of grips with an interesting hand feel and that just generally looks great.
The Condor Urban EDC also comes with a black, low profile welted leather sheath with a dangle attachment. The sheath, like the knife, is lightweight and easily carried. The overall weight of the sheath and knife is about five ounces.
