Watchmaker turned CRKT designer, Matthew Lerch designs some seriously sexy knives that “Flat Out” make you wanna get “Up & At ‘Em.” While at first glance, the CRKT Flat Out looks much like the Up & At ‘Em, there are some pretty key differences between the two knives.

The CRKT Flat Out is an Outburst assisted opener that deploys with ambidextrous thumb studs.  The 3.57” 8Cr13MoV spear point has the look of a Wharncliffe, the slim and thin blade has a fairly long slicing edge with tons of jimping along the spine.

The stainless-steel handle has a brushed satin finish and a great looking layered look to the butt of the knife. It houses both a frame lock and a tip-up pocket clip. Weighing only 3.6 ounces, this knife practically disappears in your pocket.
