After a quick Google search, “Plethiros” may not actually be a real word, but if we had to guess, it probably means “badass knife.” The CIVIVI Plethiros is certainly that and more. It’s one of the really slick designs being pumped out in the CIVIVI line by WE Knife Company.
The CIVIVI Plethiros is another Elijah Isham creation. As a designer that will often “explore the boundaries of what form a knife could take on,” he’s pushing the boundaries and turning heads. At the end of the day, it’s a reliable, wicked looking folder that’s fun to carry.
This manual flipper’s 3.45″ D2 clip point blade opens smoothly with a stainless steel ball bearing assembly and locks up nicely with a linerlock. The blade itself has plenty of belly which makes it excellent for slicing or long sweeping cuts. Let’s be honest. When the Plethiros is fully open, it looks like a pimped out chef’s knife.
The Plethiros features a remarkably ergonomic G-10 handle in OD green, tan, or black, and each scale has a smooth carbon fiber onlay. The pivot bears the CIVIVI logo, and there’s a matching ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip.
