Battle Horse Knives have been in the business since 2000, building a reputation of producing finely crafted knives at a fair price. They were even the brains behind the awesome Tree Frog folding bushcraft knife. The Battle Horse Knives Bald Mountain Skinner is a smaller sized fixed blade knife with a top priority on processing game. It can also fill the role of an all-purpose camp knife or a small fixed blade for daily carry. Great materials and American craftsmanship make it worth every dollar.
The Bald Mountain Skinner features a 2.75” O1 tool steel drop point with a long slicing. The blade has a bit of an upswept shape that looks sort of like a Nessmuk if it were shrunken down and widened out a little bit more.
The ergonomic micarta handle scales are attached with brass pins and include a lanyard tube for attachments. The handles are a bit offset which gives you a ton of control and allows this knife to also function as a back up chopper. Finally, the Bald Mountain Skinner comes with a genuine leather belt sheath.
