ESEE has a new knife that we’re pretty sure all hunters are going to want to check out. It’s the ESEE Ashley Game Knife. ESEE tells us this Ashely Emerson design is the result of seeking “advice and opinions from some of the best in the industry.” As an Alaska hunter and guide, Emerson has decades of experience with processing game in the field from deer, wild hogs, and just about everything else you can think of. This knife is built to handle it all and as always, it comes with the exemplary ESEE “no questions asked” Warranty.
The ESEEAGK features a 3.5” 1095 high carbon steel drop point blade with a black oxide coating and a stonewash finish. This knife is perfectly suited for skinning and any other game processing work. ESEE says the handle to blade ration has been “optimized for leverage for jobs like splitting a sternum.” With this design, they also chose to not incorporate a sharpening choil. This means there aren’t any chances sharp edges catching on the hide.
The contoured micarta handle scales feel great in hand. They won’t slip in wet environments, and for added slip resistance it has an integrated finger guard as well as an extra-large lanyard hole that’s perfect for 550 paracord.
