When Komoran Damascus kitchen knives crossed our desk, we were literally blown away. They’re amazing knives made with outstanding materials and a nearly flawless fit and finish. Not only that, you can get them for an incredibly reasonable price. What’s not to love?
There are two knives in this series. Both knives feature a premium, 64 layer, VG-10 Damascus steel blade with a full tang. The Utility knife has a 5″ drop point with a long slicing edge. The Santoku has a 7.357″sheepsfoot blade that smoothly and beautifully transitions to the handle, allowing a comfortable pinch grip.
They both feel nice and balanced in hand. The ergonomic micarta handle scales are attached with double rivets and are perfectly fitted to the full tang for a finish that is smooth, even, and honestly amazing.
One of our favorite elements of this knife are the mosaic pins. They add an extra touch of elegance and refinement to these knives that is most often seen on kitchen knives that cost literally hundreds of dollars more. Each comes packaged in a magnetically closed display box.
