The CIVIVI Incite is a modern flipper that makes use of wood handles. No G-10 or micarta on these models, just good old-fashioned wood. The benefit of that is you get a pretty lightweight knife for its size. CIVIVI is a subsidiary of WE Knife Company, so if you enjoy any of their designs, you’ll probably like this one, too.
The Incite features a robust, 3.7” D2 tool steel drop point blade with a touch of spine jimping and a moderately sized choil. It flips open smoothly with stainless steel ball bearings. This linerlock measures almost 8.5” overall which makes it not bad for big jobs.
Machined Wood handle scales and skeletonized stainless liners keep this knife nice and lightweight. Models include black ebony or cuibourtia wood. They’re textured nicely for a non-slip grip and are contoured for comfort.
