The ZT 0055 just got totally blacked out with the new Zero Tolerance 055BLK Sprint Run. This sleek knife has a premium CPM-20CV stainless steel blade with a black DLC coating. It features machined titanium handles with a DLC coating and gray geometric designs on the sides, so this sprint run has some pretty unique looks. Their shaped perfectly for big or small hands and are quite comfortable to hold. The darkened look of this knife is completed with black hardware and an ambidextrous, titanium pocket clip.
A KVT ball-bearing system ensures that the blade opens fast and smooth each time. The modified tanto shape of the blade allows for the use of a single serrate, making it quite versatile. The tip is excellent for piercing work while the heel portion of the blade is great for straight cuts.
This knife uses an SLT (Spring-Loaded Tab) to open the blade. ZT says, “The action is similar to a two-stage rifle trigger.” Pull the tab back and it will stop. Pull it back further and it functions just like an ordinary blade flipper and opens the knife. When the knife is closed, the tab stays pretty much flush with the handle keeping a nice tight appearance.
