Designed by knife legend Ethan Becker, the BK18 features a 4.56” 1095 CroVan carbon steel harpoon blade with a flat grind and a blade thickness of 0.165”. This SMKW SFO version has a black powder coated blade which significantly increases the corrosion resistance. It has an HRC of 56-58 and a full tang. There’s jimping along the spine for added slip resistance.
The rounded, contoured handles on this knife are just over 4-3/4” and have a fantastic feel in your hand. They’re sized right for the vast majority of grips. It also has an exposed pommel with a lanyard slot. It comes with a USA-made Celcon sheath that has a variety of attachment points for a lightweight and comfortable carry. It’s 9.38” overall and weighs 7.2 ounces.
