The MKM Colvera was designed by Jesper Voxnaes and built by LionSteel. Now, we love a Vox design. We’ve yet to handle a LionSteel or an MKM that wasn’t just about perfect. We knew when we picked it up it would be outstanding. We weren’t wrong.
The Colvera features a 2.9” M390 drop point blade with a satin finish. It’s a manual flipper with an IKBS ball bearing pivot system and the flipping action on this knife is smooth and fast. The flipper is removable with the included tool, and it has a long pull opener for those who prefer a more controlled opening.
The front handle on this titanium framelock is available in carbon fiber, black G-10, green Micarta, or bronze anodized or plain titanium. The back handle is textured titanium. One of the areas in which LionSteel knives stand head and shoulders above the rest is the amount of care with which they build their knives. The fit and finish is perfect. The exquisite feel in hand is like nothing else on the market. It has a tip-up pocket clip and a generous lanyard hole. It’s 4.125” closed, 7.05” overall, and weighs about 3.5 ounces.
