The Condor Scotia is Condor Tool and Knife’s take on the Canadian belt knife, and what a take it is. Designed by Joe Flowers, this knife has a larger handle, is full tang, and features a full Scandi grind.
The 3.5” 1095 carbon steel spear point blade has a slightly rounded blade shape that is less often seen in your average fixed blade. Even with the full, exposed tang and an overall length of 8.17”, it is a remarkably lightweight, manageable knife. The balance is nearly perfect, and it weighs only less than 5 ounces.
Secured with brass rivets, the walnut handles are comfortable. For a fairly thin handle, the grip is wider than it seems and very comfortable. As (almost) always with Condor, this knife comes with a hand crafted, welted leather sheath with belt loop attachments.
