Like Benchmade said, it’s geared toward “tactical and EDC enthusiasts alike,” the Benchmade Autocrat is something else. This OTF auto is designed for just about any situation you can think of and will look phenomenal doing it. It’s Benchmade’s first OTF auto to make use of composite handles. This is just a seriously great looking, smooth acting knife.
The Autocrat has milled G-10 handle scales with a black oxide liner mounted on the light weight aluminum frame. All the hardware is blue sapphire titanium oxide PVD coated. It also has a deep-carry, tip-down pocket clip that is ambidextrous for righties or lefties. The handle itself is just a smidge over half an inch thick, so this auto practically disappears into the pocket and at just under 4 oz, it’s a relatively lightweight carry, too.
It has a premium S30V stainless steel double edged dagger with a fuller. It’s available with either a satin or black DLC coating to suit your preference. It smoothly and easily opens with a double-action spine fire release button with a blue anodized finish.
