Honestly, there’s a lot to unpack with the ZT 0707 aside from the fact that it’s just a beautiful. This is ZT’s attempt and pleasing everyone. It’s elegant knife that’s adjustable to suit your preferences that’s big enough to suit just about any task.
The ZT 0707 features a flat ground 3.5” CPM 20CV drop point with a blade thickness of 0.121” and a stonewash finish. It’s a manual flipper running on KVT ball bearings and, for the first time this knife features the TDS system. ZT tells us the, “Tuned Detent System (TDS™) enables us to fine-tune the detent so it’s not too heavy, not too light and provides consistent opening even when pressure is applied to the lockbar.” This means if you’ve tried carrying a slender framelock and just can’t quite get it, you probably won’t have that problem with this knife.
This framelock has a partially machined carbon fiber front handle and a titanium back handle. It has a closed length of 4.6” so there’s plenty of room for a good grip. It has a handle thickness is only 0.43” and it only weighs 2.3 ounces. This means it’s a lightweight knife with a slim profile that will practically disappear in your pocket. It has an extra-deep carry ambidextrous, tip-up pocket clip, a bead-blasted steel pivot nut and tube spacers, as well as black-oxide steel screws.
