A neck knife is my favorite companion when I’m hiking or working on my car, but it’s always flopping around and getting in my way. I believe in safety first and a rope around your neck over a running engine is anything but safe. CRKT created a neck knife that doesn’t dangle or stray from your shirt, the Cling On.
The Cling On sheath is worn like any other neck knife over your clothing, but CRKT includes a second, smaller magnetic dog tag that is worn under your shirt. When the two combine they magnetically lock together, and the Cling On doesn’t swing out from your body.
The black, all-leather sheath is great and the blade on the Cling On doesn’t disappoint either. It’s a 5” Wharncliffe, 8Cr13MoV stainless blade, and believe it or not, the knife is magnetic too. It can easily stick to your tool box or desk, even on the fridge (if your kid’s artwork isn’t your thing). At 0.18lbs this little fella can go anywhere without being a pain in the neck.
