Zero Tolerance announces the ZT 0470, a new Dmitry Sinkevich design. Arrival is expected sometime in the fourth quarter of 2018, just in time for Christmas. Easy to carry, easy to use, and as always with a Sinkevich design, it’s easy on the eye.
The ZT 0470 has some of the most exquisite handles on any knife we’ve seen in some time. Inset into the titanium handles is a marbled carbon fiber insert. They take carbon fiber, drop it from a certain height, and then liberally coat in it epoxy. This results in a material that is incredibly durable and extremely beautiful.
The 3.4” stonewashed and satin finished CPM 20V drop point is deployed via manual flipper and features the KVT ball bearing system. There is also a beautiful grind near the spine of the blade. Additionally, there’s a small amount of unobtrusive jimping near the back of the spine, so you can change your grip without worrying over pesky and potentially painful slippage.
Once the blade is deployed, you can securely lock the blade in place with the titanium framelock which is reinforced with a hardened steel lock bar insert. The ZT 0470 weighs in at only 3.3 ounces and features an ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip.
