Designed by Nick Swan, it’s the subtle touches that really elevate the Kizer Matanzas to the next level. The titanium handles with the carbon fiber insert are just beautiful all on their own, but when you take a second look at the decorative pivots and the anodized blue titanium pivot collars, they are quite stunning.
Made from CPM-S35VN the 3.44” drop point blade comes in two variants. One has a slight recurved edge, enabling a longer slice and the other has no recurve which makes for easier sharpening. The satin finish keeps these knives looking and feeling smooth, but these flippers are not just beautiful knives, the ceramic ball bearing pivot system ensures they also have a fast and reliable opening.
Once the blade is deployed, the titanium frame features a frame lock that is reinforced with a stainless-steel insert. That means these knives will have a very secure lock up. Finally, the Kizer Matanzas has a tip up, titanium pocket clip.
