The Marble’s Bear Creek Bowie is an outstanding knife for the cost. For less than $15, you’ve got a fairly hefty knife, a place to store survival gear, a sharpening stone, and a heavy duty sheath with easy snaps. That’s a pretty good deal.
Featuring a 5.439” clip point blade, this knife has literally all the things. The balance is surprisingly good. The hand feel is better than you’d expect, and at about ten ounces, it’s nowhere near as heavy as you’d expect from a knife with a 4.78 millimeter spine. Additionally, there’s a nice amount of jimping on the spine that lets you choke up on the knife comfortably.
The silver finish hollow handle unscrews to reveal a compass under the water resistant cap. The hollow handle is also comes with a survival kit.
Finally, the rugged sheath is made of nylon and leather and has a belt-loop attachment. It also has a variety of lashings and rings, allowing you multiple ways of securing your knife. But that’s not all! The sheath for the Bear Creek Survival Hunter not only comes with a sharpening stone, it features EZ-Snaps. This makes one-handed opening and stowing of this knife a snap (can you hear the Editor booing? We can.).
