There is a new beast in the waters, and it’s the new Case Shark Tooth Flipper. Case took the original Case Mako pocketknife (a classic for sure) and geared it toward the modern folder crowd with sleek styling, solid action, and modern materials. The result is a hell of a good looking knife that Case tells us is “prepped for comfortable every day carry and easy access.”
The Shark Tooth features a tough 3.5″ S35VN California clip point with a stonewash finish. The blade style on this knife is a great choice because it has an incredibly long slice without adding a ton of bulk to the blade. There’s generous amounts of jimping along the thumb ramp for a secure grip, and it opens with a discreet flipper.
This linerlock has anodized aluminum handles with G-10 inlays which keeps the weight down to a mere 3.5 ounces and still provides substantial slip resistance. There’s also an ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip and a large lanyard hole for attachments.
