It’s sleek, smooth, compact, and downright handsome. It’s the Kizer Yorkie. This new Ray Laconico design has everyday carry written all over it. The impressive fit and finish are best left to hands-on experience, but we’ll take a quick look at it here.
The Yorkie is sporting a stonewashed premium S35VN drop point blade that smoothly opens with a blade flipper and caged ceramic ball bearings. The titanium handle is smooth in the hand and supports a sturdy framelock. There is also a unique circular cutout accent on the top handle scale. Of course, you can use this knife and carry it anytime, but it would definitely be a great choice for dressier occasions as a gentlemen’s knife. Measuring just a touch over 6” overall, the Yorkie is not a large knife by any means, but a curvy drop point blade serves as a great daily cutter. A slim tip-up pocket clip keeps this folder close by.
