Case Decade Transition TrapperThe Case Decade Transition Trapper is in stock and ready to ship. Whenever Case changes up their tang stamps, it’s always a big deal and this year is no exception. If you’re a Case collector, you’ll definitely want to make sure you get yours before they’re gone.

Some of the most highly sought old Case knives are the transition knives. What’s a transition knife and why are they so desirable? When the manufacturer changes tang stamps, they’ll use all the leftover parts from the last run of their previous tang stamp along with the new tang stamp during the transition period. These are always in limited quantities and, as such, they’re rare. That generally tends to increase the value.

The 2020 Case Decade Transition Trapper has the 2020 Case tang stamp on the main clip point blade which is also etched with the two tang stamps and “Case Transition Trapper”. The secondary spey blade has the 2019 tang stamp. Additionally, it has ten dots engraved on the mirror polished, nickel silver bolsters. The red jigged bone handles are accented by the Case bow-tie shield.
