Rough Ryder is best known for its quality, budget-friendly traditional knives, but they’re stepping up their game across the board. The new Rough Ryder Copper Drop Point has a VG-10 blade and solid copper handles. It’s a flipper that falls in line with other budget friendly flippers from brands like CJRB and others.
The Rough Ryder Copper Drop Point features a 2.8″ VG-10 stainless steel drop point blade with a satin finish. It’s .11″ thick and offers dual opening mechanisms. It’s a manual flipper with dual thumb studs and a ball bearing pivot.
This linerlock has solid copper handles. And, in keeping with their traditional handles, the steel liners and pivot on this knife are anodized black. It reminds of us of all the great “underliners” Rough Ryder has been putting on their traditionals for the last 5-7 years.
It’s definitely a full size EDC. It’s 4.25″ closed, 7.125″ overall, and weighs in at 5.92oz. There is a removable, but not reversible tip-up pocket clip in the handle.
